My new collection of silk scarves are now on Etsy. This first batch are printed onto heavyweight silk twill which has a lovely weave and shimmer. There will be a few to follow in crepe de chine and silk satin, I'm still undecided as to which finish I like best, so for starters I'm trying all three. There are ten designs in total and I will also be offering a sample sale of several of the designs on redrubyrose.

One thing I've discovered is that silk scarves are very tricky to photograph! I wanted to keep the photography as simple and clear as possible but the fluidity of the fabric makes them a challenge compared to the clutches. It's a learning curve.

  5. They're all lovely! I think I'd choose the Ethereal Flower design, as my top one. I would have liked to see a photo of each scarf laid out flat to see the whole design, as well. Difficult with a long scarf, I realise....
